  5.    DESCRIPTION:
  6.    ASCII (American Standards Code for Information Interchange) is a type
  7.    of document file format similar to those produced by a word processor
  8.    such as WordWorth or MS Word, except that ASCII is a very simple
  9.    format in that it only contains information on Column and Row
  10.    information and will not record the type of font used. Also underlining
  11.    and Boldface information.

  14.    NOTES:
  15.    Because ASCII is such a simple format, it does have the advantage of
  16.    being very portable meaning that virtually every word processor, text
  17.    editor, Email client etc known to man will handle ASCII files with
  18.    ease.
